Three of Turkey’s highest circulating newspapers were among 12 publications, including Zaman, Posta, Hürriyet, Sözcü, Milliyet, Habertürk, Radikal, Vatan, Bugün, Taraf and Cumhuriyet, that were denied a place on the plane. The main opposition Republican People’s Party submitted a parliamentary question asking “Isn’t this press censorship?”
